Energy Forests

BioDzl.com has envisaged a project to create Energy Forests in Southern States of U.S.

We are now looking for project partners - County Committees, Universities, Corporate and Agri groups to support this program.

Energy Forests in USA to produce non-edible Oils

In view of the ongoing food versus fuel debate, the potential of deriving non-edible Oil from Tree-borne Oil seeds is gaining importance.

One such Tree borne Oil seed is Pongamia Pinnata which yields Oil-seeds / nuts
now recognized as an excellent source of non-edible Oil feedstock to produce BioDiesel.

As part of a project in this direction, Biodzl.com has initiated planting of these energy Trees in Florida, USA

In the pilot project, we are planning to plant on about 100 acres of wasted / unproductive land with 10,000 of these Energy Trees to convert this land into an

The aim of the project is to plant 10,000 acres of wasted land in Southern States of US which would yield about 6 Million gallons of non edible green Oil besides producing 18500 tones of organic fertilizer / animal fodder.

The funds for planting them will be raised by subscribers sponsoring Trees through the Voluntary Emission Reduction Program which will be run as Corporate / Community  Social / Climate Responsibility Programs.

Being a project of social & environmental importance, we seek your participation in helping us locate pieces of land - 100 acres plus - which are wasted to establish Energy Forests in any of the States in Southern US and also run a Voluntary Emission Reduction Program in your region.

The project will be pioneering in its efforts by putting non-productive land to productive use by greening these wasted lands, preventing soil erosion, helping in reducing global warming by creating a carbon sink, generating clean renewable energy from non-food sources and most importantly contributes to energy security of United States of America.
